THE PREZ
SEZ
In our last newsletter I mentioned that the renewal rate of our
individual members, whose dues are due January 1, was exceptional. I
am now very pleased to report that our Club and Statewide Organization
members, whose dues are due July 1 of each year, is coming along at a
much better than usual rate. In the next newsletter, after these dues are all
received and posted we will include a list of all of our current Club and
Organization members.
It does seem that new applications have slowed to a walk, so we
are in the process of coming up with a plan for a membership drive. In
the meantime we would greatly appreciate any efforts on your part to
help us add new folks to our roster. I have calculated in my mathematical
type mind that if each of you would get just one new person to join the
Roundtable, we would immediately double our membership. We will be
happy to send you a supply of applications, or you may download an
application from our website @ www.insportsmensroundtable.org
Speaking of the website I am sure that Maria and Pete Miller, the
site managers, are looking for fodder for that endeavor and would be
grateful to you for your input. How about sending them some copy?
While on the subject I am also sure that our newsletter editor Terry
Roberts would be pleased to have some copy from you for the
newsletter.
In closing I'd like to thank the Indiana Conservation Officers
Organization (ICOO), an ISR member, for their gracious invitation to
attend, at least in part, the North American Wildlife Enforcement
Officers Organization (NAWEOA) annual meeting which they hosted. I
was very impressed with the outstanding effort made by our CO's to
make this a memorable event.
Hope you’re having some luck with the fishing and are looking
forward to the upcoming hunting and trapping seasons.
Respectfully,
Dick Mercier
